Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily living activities for clients.
• Perform range of motion exercises.
• Manage client transfers using lifting devices.
• Check vital signs including temperature and pulse.
• Handle home management tasks like meal preparation.
• Aid in client mobility.
• Assist with medication administration.

Skills

Ability to perform activities of daily living

• Be at least 18 years of age

Job Responsibilities for Personal Care Aides (PCs):

• Activities of daily living
• Range of motion / exercises
• Transfers / use of mechanical lifting devices
• Vital sign checks: temperature, pulse, respiration
• Home Management Tasks: laundry, meal preparation, bed making etc.
• Assisting with ambulation
• Medication assistance
