Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc. is seeking a New College Grad Process Integration Engineer in Boise, Idaho. You will work with PI teams to develop and optimize semiconductor processes, perform DOE, monitor yield trends, and support technology transfer for next-generation devices.

The role emphasizes hands-on learning in yield improvement, cost reduction, and process qualification, with opportunities to rotate through manufacturing, engineering, and quality teams and to travel for tech transfer.

Qualifications

  • Fundamental MOSFET and DRAM operation understanding.
  • CMOS processes and characterization methods knowledge.
  • Familiarity with DOE, SPC, and JMP.

Responsibilities

  • Lead root-cause investigations and failure analysis in time‑sensitive environments.
  • Drive yield, cost efficiency, and quality improvements.
  • Run DOE to enhance process capability and margin.
  • Monitor trends and sustain line stability.
  • Address top detractors to improve device yield and reliability.
  • Lead technology transfer workshops for next‑gen devices.
  • Startup, develop and optimize processes for product quality and reliability.
  • Identify and resolve process issues using FMEA, 8D, SPC/FDC.
  • Coordinate process, equipment, and materials evaluations.
  • Validate and qualify new processes, tools, and materials for NPI.
  • Manage and audit suppliers to meet quality, cost and risk objectives.
  • Support internal and external audits.
  • Travel internationally for 3+ months for tech transfer/training.
  • Adapt to a shifted schedule as required.
  • Explore Agentic AI to improve workflow efficiency.
