Job summary

Kastle Systems in Falls Church, VA, is seeking an entry-level Install/Service Helper (Union) to join our property technology team. The role supports installation, testing, and service of access control, CCTV, and alarm systems at customer sites.

The position offers a path to Journeyman/Locksmith through our union apprenticeship. Candidates should be able to read wiring diagrams, work with networking and testing tools, and commit to overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience in the alarm, access control, CCTV, and Networking.
• Training, testing, and certification may be required in accordance with the current CBA
• Work history must display stability and consistent attendance.
• Demonstrated ability to accept responsibility and carry out assigned tasks with limited supervision.
• Knowledge of building codes pertaining to construction, fire, and electrical systems.
• Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams.
• Networking, Computers, Alarm systems, Access Controls, and CCTV.
• Aptitude in basic programming
• Thorough knowledge installation techniques.

Responsibilities

• Assists with installation, service, and repair of Kastle access control, security components and CCTV.
• Assists supervisor by verifying that completed work is documented accurately
• Maintains company owned vehicles, tools, equipment, and individual tool issue.
• Maintains and protect building keys to customer buildings.
