Job summary

Goldbelt Security, LLC is hiring a Security Guard I to support basic security operations and protect personnel, assets, and property at assigned locations in Alaska. You will monitor access, screen visitors, and assist with incident reporting under supervision.

The role requires 21+ years old, a GED or high school diploma, and a clean background. Alaska guard license, CPR/First Aid, and customer-service experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• At least 6 months of customer service or public interaction experience.
• Alaska Security Guard license required or eligible.
• Background check and drug screening required.
• Valid driver's license with clean record.
• CPR and First Aid certification within 3 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and control access to assigned areas; check IDs and visitor credentials.
• Complete visitor and contractor check-ins for transport to designated sites.
• Conduct bag and personal item inspections for prohibited items.
• Observe and report suspicious behavior or safety issues.
• Assist in maintaining order during incidents or emergencies as directed.
• Provide directions and assistance to visitors and staff.
• Complete basic logs and incident reports accurately and promptly.
• Perform foot patrols to monitor and secure facilities.
• Support other security personnel as directed.
• May be required to work on-call or call-back hours.
