Entry Level Scientist- Pharmaceutical Product Testing

Employee Responsibilities:

1. Perform physical, chemical, and instrumental analysis of active pharmaceutical ingredients and finished pharmaceutical products.
2. Operate instrumentation such as chromatographic systems, Karl Fischer titrators, UV/Spec, wet chemistry analysis tools, HPLC, IC, IR, ICP, AA, TGP, DSC, PDA, auto-titrators, TLC, and dissolution apparatus independently.
3. Prepare samples and run analyses with minimal supervision.
4. Set up and validate new analytical processes used by the department.
5. Prepare standards and samples for analysis.
6. Execute method transfer protocols.
7. Document work in compliance with GMP standards.
8. Perform monthly maintenance of laboratory equipment.

Education and/or Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in chemistry or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Authorization to work in the United States without restrictions or sponsorship.

This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday, with shifts from 7AM - 3PM or 3PM - 11PM. Candidates living within a commutable distance of Lancaster, PA are encouraged to apply.
