Job summary

Pace, a longtime environmental testing leader, is hiring a Scientist in our Wet Chemistry department in Massachusetts. You will perform hands-on analysis of environmental samples, using chemistry and biochemistry methods to detect contaminants and ensure data quality for communities and ecosystems.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a laboratory setting.
• Ability to follow established chemistry/biochemistry methods.
• Comfort working around strong odors and PPE requirements.

Responsibilities

• Analyze environmental samples using established chemistry and biochemistry methods looking for environmental contaminants.
• Review and interpret the results from the sample analysis.
• Accurately document procedures, observations, and results; maintain lab records.
• Clean, maintain, and calibrate laboratory instruments and equipment.
