Job summary

Pace Analytical Services LLC seeks a Scientist in our Volatiles department to advance environmental testing in a fast-paced lab setting. You will perform hands-on chemical analyses, ensuring data integrity that informs community safety and environmental decisions.

You’ll work with GC-MS and GC-FID/PID methods, calibrate instruments, and meticulously document results. A STEM degree with chemistry coursework is required, and Pace offers training to develop your expertise further.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or related STEM field; training provided.
  • Must have chemistry credit hours with labs from a college or university.
  • Ability to perform hands-on laboratory work in a controlled environment.

Responsibilities

  • Perform, support, and oversee analysis of environmental samples using GC-MS/GC-FID/PID.
  • Clean, maintain, and calibrate laboratory instruments and equipment.
  • Document procedures, observations, and results with high quality lab records.
