Job Description

Employee Responsibilities:

  1. Perform physical, chemical, and instrumental analysis of active pharmaceutical ingredients and finished pharmaceutical products (tablets, capsules, parenterals, devices, aerosols, liquids, creams, gels).
  2. Operate instrumentation independently, including chromatographic systems, Karl Fischer titrators, UV/Spec, wet chemistry analyses, HPLC, IC, IR, ICP, AA, TGP, DSC, PDA, auto-titrators, TLC, and dissolution apparatus.
  3. Prepare samples for analysis and run instrumentation with minimal supervision.
  4. Set up and validate new analytical or related processes used by the department.
  5. Prepare standards and samples for analysis.
  6. Execute method transfer protocols.
  7. Document work for GMP compliance.
  8. Perform monthly maintenance of laboratory equipment.

Qualifications

Education and/or Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in chemistry or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Authorization to work in the US indefinitely without restrictions or sponsorship.

Additional Information

This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday, with shifts at 7AM - 3PM or 3PM - 11PM. Candidates living near Lancaster, PA are encouraged to apply.
