Job summary

Weyerhaeuser Longview is hiring for sawmill and planer production along with plant utility positions. The site operates on a 4 10s schedule during the week, days or nights, with on-the-job training and safety-focused culture.

Starting wages are $26.78/hour, with comprehensive health benefits, retirement plans, and paid time off under the labor agreement. Candidates must pass pre-employment screenings and be able to work in dusty/noisy environments.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be available to work any shift, including nights and weekends.
• Must have a solid work history; industrial experience is a plus.
• Must attach a current resume to the application.

Responsibilities

• Operate sawmill and planer production equipment and monitor machine centers.
• Troubleshoot issues, monitor upstream and downstream operations, and follow procedures during upsets.
• Keep work areas clean and free of safety hazards; operate a forklift as required.
• Provide coverage at various operating positions and assist with quality checks.
