Job summary

The Kraft Heinz Company in Mason, OH is hiring for an entry-level Sanitation 1 role. You will ensure production areas, equipment, and tools are cleaned to GMP and food safety standards, supporting a safe, high-quality manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities include cleaning and sanitizing equipment, handling chemicals safely, operating sanitation tools, and maintaining logs for audit readiness. Training is provided; forklift certification may be required in the future.

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to sanitation excellence.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately.
• Basic mechanical aptitude for equipment disassembly/reassembly.
• Dependable, safety-conscious, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
• No prior certifications required; training provided by Kraft Heinz.

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning and sanitizing of production equipment, floors, drains, walls, and designated areas per procedures.
• Dismantle and reassemble basic equipment for cleaning as needed.
• Handle and apply cleaning chemicals safely following SDS guidelines.
• Operate sanitation support equipment such as hoses, foaming units, and scrubbers.
• Maintain compliance with safety, GMP, and food safety requirements at all times.
• Complete sanitation logs and documentation for audit readiness.
• Identify and report potential safety or quality concerns.
