Job summary

Kraft Heinz Company in Mason City, IA is seeking a Sanitation Operator to maintain a clean, GMP‑compliant facility supporting food safety and daily operations. Responsibilities include sanitation, waste management, equipment operation, and reporting issues affecting safety or quality.

The role requires 18+, HS diploma, ability to follow instructions, and a rotating 12‑hour shift (days, nights, weekends, holidays) with overtime as needed. PTO, benefits, and 401(k) are among offered compensation.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Able to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Ability to work 12-hour 4x4 rotating schedule including days, nights, weekends and holidays and overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Complete assigned sanitation and cleaning tasks in production and non-production areas.
• Clean and sanitize floors, drains, sinks, equipment surfaces, and other designated areas.
• Perform scheduled sanitation work and follow GMP and food safety procedures.
• Operate approved sanitation equipment safely and correctly.
• Stock and restock sanitation and GMP supplies throughout the facility.
• Remove trash and waste and help maintain clean interior and exterior facility areas.
• Report equipment, safety, pest, or facility concerns to the Supervisor.
• Support deep cleaning, shutdown sanitation, break relief, and other assigned duties.
