Veradigm is seeking an entry-level Salesforce Engineer for a remote US-based role. You’ll support Salesforce and related applications, learning Apex and Lightning Web Components while working with a small Business Systems team.

Initially you’ll handle user administration, data fixes, and configuration, with a path to full Salesforce development. A strong interest in analytics and integration will help as you grow across Gainsight, Outreach, Gong, and other tools.

Qualifications

• You have built something on Salesforce in an internship, co-op, project or personal project.
• You have written code in Java, JavaScript, Python or C#.
• You can learn new applications and handle hands-on training on Salesforce and related tools.
• You can explain a fix clearly to non-IT colleagues.
• You hold a CS/info systems degree or equivalent experience.

• Answer support tickets and manage user access and licenses.
• Fix data that fails to sync with Salesforce.
• Make Salesforce changes to fields, layouts and flows to automate work without code.

Description

What you would be taking on

You would support Salesforce and the applications around it. Outreach runs sales email sequences. Gong records sales calls. Gainsight tracks customer health. Marketing Cloud sends marketing email. LEAH, also known as ContractPodAI, manages contracts. Calendly schedules meetings. Salesforce is the center of the role, but you would own these applications too, learning each one on your own or through hands-on training. In the first year, most work is support, configuration and user administration. Over time you would grow from application support into full Salesforce development.

This is an entry-level remote role.

About the team

We are a small team in Business Systems at Veradigm. Veradigm serves physician practices, health plans and life sciences companies with software and data. We keep its Salesforce systems running and build what comes next. We support services projects on Kantata SX, quotes and contracts on Salesforce CPQ, and billing in Zuora. We also support customer cases on Service Cloud, portals on Experience Cloud, and the sales and marketing applications. Boomi connects the systems. Much of it predates the current team. We work across all of it. Nobody is tied to one product. Later we may add Service Cloud Voice, Agentforce or Revenue Cloud Advanced. So we look for people who adapt.

What you will do

• Learn and support any application we use around Salesforce, such as Gainsight, LEAH, Gong and Outreach.

What we need

• You have built something on Salesforce in an internship, co-op, academic project or personal project.
• You have written code in a language such as Java, JavaScript, Python or C#.
• You can learn a new application on your own, and you are open to hands-on training on any application we use around Salesforce.
• You can explain a fix in plain words to someone outside IT.
• You have a degree in computer science, information systems or a related field, or equivalent experience.

What helps

None of these is required.

• Experience with any of the applications above, such as Outreach, Gong, Gainsight, Marketing Cloud, LEAH or Calendly. This is a big plus.
• A Salesforce Associate, Administrator or Platform App Builder certification.
• Progress on Trailhead, Salesforce's free learning site.
• Familiarity with SQL, REST APIs or integration concepts.
• Use of AI tools for coding or research.

How we work

The senior members of our team work remotely. You would learn from them by video call and through review of your work. Every change is reviewed before production. We use AI agents, currently Claude, to analyze, design, build, debug and troubleshoot. You would work with them and own what they produce, within company AI usage policies.

Who this is not for

If you want to write code full time from day one, this role will frustrate you. If you enjoy learning how systems fit together, it will suit you.

Compensation Range:

$69,852-$97,094

Compensation for this job is subject to market conditions, geographic considerations, the candidate’s unique skills and experience, state and local laws, and budget.
