Sales Representative

Job Description:

In the role of Outside Sales Representative at Southern, you are at the forefront of building customer relationships that are built to last. Your primary focus is on personalized customer interactions, with a strong emphasis on door-to-door prospecting and lead generation. You will also negotiate prices and oversee project execution. This position offers a starting salary of $45,000 plus uncapped commissions.

The Outside Sales Representative will collaborate with the area sales team and report to the General Manager to drive business growth and contribute to the overall success of the company.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Excel in indoor-to-door sales, actively generating leads and establishing client connections.
2. Leverage our comprehensive training to refine your sales tactics and strategies.
3. Communicate effectively with potential clients, offering tailored solutions to their needs.
4. Interact directly with customers and resolve potential issues, questions, and complaints professionally and collaboratively.
5. Conduct thorough roof inspections and provide expert recommendations.
6. Manage entire project lifecycles, from cost estimation to successful completion.
7. Coordinate schedules and resources efficiently to meet project goals.

Ideal Candidate:

• Self-motivated with a passion for outdoor, on-the-ground sales work.
• Able and willing to set up a ladder and climb on the roof.
• Reliable, dependable, diligent, and highly organized with good time management skills.
• Demonstrates strong business practices and judgment.
• Seeking a full-time, flexible position that promises both personal and professional growth.
• Bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus.

Requirements:

• A valid driver's license and reliable vehicle for daily use.
• Basic math and computer skills.
• Willingness to undergo and pass a background check and Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check.

Expected annual earnings range from $70,000 to $150,000. Our sales reps receive a base salary of $45K plus uncapped commissions. Reps with no industry experience typically see the following growth:
