Job summary

GAI Consultants, Inc. seeks an Entry Level Engineer to join our Transportation Business Unit. This role offers hands-on design exposure and mentorship to develop into a well‑rounded professional in roadway design and traffic analysis.

Responsibilities include design work, report and drawing preparation, and use of MS Word/Excel. Familiarity with MicroStation and OpenRoads/GEOPAK is a plus; occasional site visits are required (<10%).

Qualifications

• Requires foundational engineering concepts from undergrad education.
• Undergraduate education develops basic skills through mentored experience.
• Performs routine technical work without prior experience.
• FE exam passed with EIT or EI certification.

Responsibilities

• Transportation design including roadway design and traffic analysis.
• Prepare reports, maps, drawings, bid documents, and project plans.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Knowledge of MicroStation and familiarity with OpenRoads or GEOPAK.
• Occasional travel for site visits is required (<10%).
