Job summary

LPU Batangas is seeking a Civil Engineer to assist in planning, designing, and implementing transportation projects in a hybrid Tallahassee, FL setting. You will support roadway design plans, prepare documentation, and use MicroStation, ORD, AutoCAD Civil 3D, and MS Office under supervision.

You will collect data, perform site inspections, attend client meetings, and help maintain records while collaborating with a project team and reporting to a project manager or senior engineer.>/p>

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• EI certification preferred.
• Transportation-related experience preferred.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Desire to learn and demonstrate growth potential.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Proficient in MicroStation, ORD, AutoCAD Civil 3D, or other engineering software.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Detail-oriented with understanding of project goals.
• Accurate documentation of time and effort.
• Interest in transportation infrastructure design.

• Support preparation of roadway design plans and related documentation.
• Use CADD software to create designs, calculations, sketches, diagrams, schematic drawings, and final working drawings under supervision.
• Perform engineering analyses and prepare reports and technical specifications under supervision.
• Collaborate within project teams to meet project objectives within scope, schedule, and budget.
• Collect and analyze data, conduct field work, and perform site inspections under supervision.
• Attend site visits and client meetings.
• Maintain project records, contribute to progress reports, and communicate updates to team members and supervisors.
• Work under the guidance of a project manager or senior engineer.
