Job summary

Johnson, Mirmiran & Thompson (JMT) is a dynamic, employee-owned consulting firm with over 2,800 professionals delivering multidisciplinary services to public agencies and private clients across the United States. JMT's Trenton Construction Services Team is seeking entry level inspectors to apply standard inspection procedures for ongoing and completed construction work, with night shifts.

Immigration sponsorship is not available except for TN visa eligibility; compensation is $25.00-$35.00/hour,

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; on-the-job training provided.
• NICET certification preferred or ability to obtain within six months.

Responsibilities

• Review construction drawings, site layouts and specs for code compliance.
• Perform routine tests for concrete, soils and other materials.
• Measure dimensions and verify level and elevation for compliance with documents.
• Prepare daily reports, quantities and computations.
• Take field notes and track pay items for processing payments.
