Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Perform general administrative and clerical duties related to retirement plan operations.
  • Enter, update, and maintain accurate data in internal systems and spreadsheets.
  • Work extensively with Microsoft Excel and Word for reports, tracking, and documentation.
  • Assist in drafting retirement plan documents and support new business onboarding activities.
  • Process benefit distributions for terminated employees in accordance with plan rules.
  • Review information for accuracy and completeness.
  • Organize and maintain electronic and physical files.
  • Support team members with special projects as assigned.
  • Communicate professionally with internal team members and external contacts as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.

About Creative Retirement Systems, (CRS):

Position Summary:

The Retirement Operations Associate will support the daily administrative functions of retirement plan operations. This role focuses on data entry, document preparation, and assisting with basic plan processing tasks, specifically assisting with participant loans & distributions.

This is an entry-level role; no prior experience in retirement plans or finance is required ; you will receive structured training to build foundational knowledge of retirement plans and administrative processes, with opportunities to grow into more advanced responsibilities over time.

PLEASE NOTE: While our preference is for this position to be based in our Cincinnati Tri-County office, we are open to considering remote candidates who are the right fit for the role. Remote employees must be located within the Eastern or Central time zones to ensure alignment with business hours and team collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:
