Job summary

United Water Restoration Group, Inc. in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a Restoration Technician. No restoration experience required; the right attitude and a strong work ethic will be taught the trade.

You will learn to extract water, set up drying equipment, perform cleanup, and work with customers during challenging situations. We offer competitive hourly pay, medical/dental/vision insurance, 401(k), 6 paid holidays, paid vacation, training and development, and opportunities to earn IICRC

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Able to lift and move 25-50 pounds.
• Comfortable working in homes, businesses, crawl spaces, attics.
• Willing to participate in emergency on-call rotation.
• Pass a national background check and a pre-employment drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Extract water and mitigate water damage.
• Set up and monitor drying equipment.
• Demolition and removal of damaged materials.
• Assist with fire and smoke cleaning.
• Perform microbial remediation.
• Assist with vandalism, crime scene, and biohazard cleanup.
• Perform structural board-up and site stabilization.
• Clean and restore affected areas.
• Maintain equipment and job sites.
• Document work through moisture logs, progress reports, safety logs, and diagrams.
• Work directly with customers during difficult situations.

What Is Restoration?

When a homeowner or business experiences a major water leak, fire, mold problem, or other property emergency, they need someone to respond quickly.

As a Restoration Technician, you’ll help return damaged homes and businesses to normal.

You’ll Learn How To
