Job summary

The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center seeks a detail-oriented professional to support export control compliance and research security. The role reviews activities, maintains records, and helps faculty and staff meet federal requirements for international collaborations.

Under minimal supervision, you will screen projects, conduct reviews, maintain logs, and assist with training and documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Familiarity with export control regulations (EAR, ITAR, OFAC) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Screen research projects and international engagements for compliance.
• Review export control for shipments, projects, agreements, and personnel.
• Perform restricted party screening and maintain logs/reports.
• Monitor foreign engagements, travel, and shipment requests for risk.
• Assist in administering Technology Control Plans (TCPs).
• Support internal training coordination and compliance outreach.
