Job summary

Mountaire Farms is seeking an entry level Rendering Operator in Millsboro, DE. You will operate equipment in the production of animal proteins and fat, learn certification in one of five areas, and perform basic operator tasks while building a foundation in safety and quality.

This role requires a high school diploma, 0–2 years experience, ability to lift 60 lbs, and forklift/skid steer certification. You must be able to work independently, communicate effectively, and maintain flexible schedule

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 0–2 years of related work experience.
• Ability to lift up to 60 lbs.
• Ability to work independently.
• Valid certification to operate forklift and/or skid steer loaders.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and safety knowledge.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment in production of animal proteins and fat.
• Monitor cooking process, collect samples and test product to ensure QA specifications.
• Monitor environmental equipment and operate a forklift and skid steer loaders.
• Follow all safety policies and SOPs, support Goal Zero mission.
