Job summary

Mountaire Farms is seeking an entry-level rendering operator to support production of animal proteins and fat. You will perform routine rendering operations, work toward certification in one of five areas, and operate related equipment with a focus on safety and quality.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 0-2 years’ experience in a related field preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 60 lbs.
• Ability to work independently and flexibly.
• Must possess forklift and/or skid steer certification.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment involved in the production of animal proteins and fat.
• Monitor and oversee the cooking process, collect samples and test product for QA specifications.
• Monitor environmental equipment and operate a forklift and skid steer loaders.
• Follow all safety policies, SOPs, and support the Goal Zero mission.
