Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; 0–2 years of experience in rehabilitation or related field preferred.
• Knowledge of counseling and assessment methods used to guide individuals with disabilities.

Responsibilities

• Counsel individuals with disabilities to help achieve employment outcomes.
• Analyze educational, social, medical, and vocational information to guide career planning.
• Conduct diagnostic interviews to collect information for informed career choices.
• Determine referrals to agencies and services as needed.
• Prepare comprehensive assessments and determine VR service needs and eligibility.
• Develop rehabilitation plans aligned with client goals and abilities.
• Monitor progress toward IPE completion and employment outcomes.
• Authorize expenditures for individual goods and services when appropriate.
• Maintain case reports and documentation; support job development and placement activities.
• Coordinate with schools, hospitals, and community resources for client support.
• Educate clients about the Ticket to Work program and related resources.
