Comfort Systems USA Mid South is seeking an entry-level Refrigeration Technician I based in Montgomery, Alabama. You will support service, maintenance, and repair of commercial refrigeration systems under guidance, expanding hands‑on experience and building a long‑term career with a reputable mechanical contractor.

This role emphasizes safety, quality, and customer service while serving commercial and institutional customers throughout the surrounding area.

Qualifications

• EPA Universal Certification is required.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to read wiring diagrams and service documentation.

Responsibilities

• Assist troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing commercial refrigeration systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance on refrigeration equipment.
• Support senior technicians during service calls and inspections.
• Identify basic mechanical, electrical, and refrigeration issues and escalate as needed.
• Document service activities, parts used, and job notes clearly.
• Communicate professionally with customers, dispatch, and management.
• Maintain tools and company vehicle in a clean, safe condition.
• Follow safety policies and OSHA standards at all times.
