Job summary

Frontier Justice is seeking a Range Safety Officer to ensure safety, security, and compliance within the firearms range facility. You will monitor operations, enforce rules, manage access, respond to emergencies, and support training sessions.

You will interact with guests, provide guidance on range rules, conduct regular safety checks, and coordinate with local authorities as needed. The role requires standing for long periods and willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; college hours preferred.
• 21 years of age or older.
• Confidence working around firearms with a strong safety focus.
• Knowledge of firearms, ammunition, and range operations.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests courteously while enforcing range rules.
• Provide guidance on range rules and basic assistance.
• Maintain a visible security presence on the range during hours.
• Observe and enforce safety procedures; intervene in unsafe handling of firearms or equipment.
• Record incidents and coordinate with authorities when required.
