North American Rail Solutions is seeking an entry-level Trackman I to support track installation, maintenance, and repair across our railroad projects. The role requires physical stamina, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to work effectively in outdoor environments as part of a crew.

Responsibilities include installing and maintaining tracks, performing construction tasks, operating manual tools, and documenting work.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Prior experience in railroad, heavy construction, or maintenance preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs and work outdoors in all weather.
• Willingness to travel to various job sites, including weekends and overnight stays.

Responsabilités

• Install and maintain railroad tracks and related infrastructure.
• Perform track construction tasks such as replacing rail and ties.
• Operate manual tools and specialized equipment.
• Record work and report issues to supervisors.
• Respond to after-hours callouts for emergency repairs.
• Support site setup and cleanup to maintain safety and efficiency.
