First Response Rail Service, Inc is seeking an Entry Level, trainable Railcar Quality Assurance Assistant in Kansas. You will assist with QA system implementation per AAR standards, collect data on production and supplier performance, and help prepare training materials.

The role involves maintaining QA records, supporting corrective actions, and ensuring traceability of materials. Strong organization, communication, and basic forklift skills are expected.

Qualifications

• Willing to learn and comply with AAR M-1003 and related standards.
• Strong organization, detail orientation, and ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic data handling.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with implementation and maintenance of the QA system per AAR standards.
• Collect and maintain data on production and supplier performance.
• Prepare QA training materials and documentation.
• Maintain QA records, logs, forms, and related QA documentation.
• Support corrective and preventive actions and nonconformity reporting.
• Identify problems in products and processes and report to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist with inventory control and periodic counts.
• Ensure material traceability and complete QA documentation.
• Promote quality awareness across the company.
• Perform other QA, inventory, and admin duties as assigned.
