Stadler Rail Group is hiring a Railcar Maintenance Technician I in California to inspect, maintain, and repair railcars for safe operation. The role requires working with FRA regulations, AAR standards, and company procedures, with a preference for electrical background.

Must be able to live/commute to San Bernardino area. Join a team focused on reliability, safety, and quality, performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and basic repairs with some supervision from senior technicians.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or GED; electrical/electromechanical background preferred.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to read manuals and safety regs.
• Must be able to work outdoors in various weather conditions and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsabilités

• Inspect, maintain, and repair railcars per FRA regulations and company procedures.
• Perform preventative maintenance and troubleshooting of mechanical and electrical systems.
• Assist with major repairs, overhauls, or rebuilds under supervision.
• Record inspections and maintenance per FRA requirements.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area and comply with lockout/tagout.
