SHINE Technologies, LLC is seeking an Entry Level R&D Chemist in Wisconsin to develop and implement radiochemical separation techniques for advancing nuclear fuel reprocessing efforts. The role focuses on hands-on experiments, data interpretation, and documentation to support technology commercialization.

The successful candidate will design and test processes, manage lab equipment, and work within a multidisciplinary team to achieve robust results and clear technical reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in chemistry or related scientific discipline.
• Willingness to be hands-on with new technologies in a laboratory environment.
• Ability to plan and execute experiments, analyze data, and document results.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform experimental and prototyping activities involving chemical and radiochemical handling, processing, sampling, and analysis.
• Develop experimental designs, test plans, and operating procedures for chemical and radiochemical processes.
• Conduct liquid-liquid extraction, ion exchange chromatography, and other separation processes involving actinides, lanthanides, and fission products.
• Analyze and interpret experimental data and document results in technical reports and presentations.
• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory equipment and analytical instrumentation.
• Perform other duties as requested or assigned.
