Job summary

Darling Ingredients is seeking an entry-level Corporate Laboratory Technician to execute tests and monitor product quality following established lab practices and health and safety rules.

You will log samples in the LIMS or certificates of analysis, assist with routine testing, maintain and validate instrumentation, and report results to the Lab Manager.

Minimum requirements: high school diploma or GED and some college coursework in science and math, plus proficiency with Word, Outlook and Excel.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Outlook & Excel.

Responsibilities

• Execute testing per lab procedures and policies.
• Log samples and results in LIMS or COA.
• Assist in routine and project sample testing.
• Report off-quality findings to Lab Manager.
• Maintain, operate and validate lab instrumentation.
• Follow SOPs accurately.
• Communicate testing needs to other divisions.
• Fulfill customer proposal requests.
