Job summary

WaveCrest Staffing Group seeks a Chemist I to join the Quality Services team in the Finished Product Lab. The role supports product testing, quality documentation, raw material sampling, and timely release of products while ensuring GMP and safety compliance.

This is an entry-level opportunity for a science graduate with lab experience, aiming to build experience in a quality-focused manufacturing environment. 3rd shift, Sunday–Thursday, 10:00 PM–6:30 AM.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Science, preferably Chemistry or related field.
• 0–2 years of quality or lab experience; entry-level accepted.
• Basic understanding of pH and viscosity testing.
• Familiarity with GC and wet chemistry/analytical techniques is a plus.
• Experience in FDA-regulated environment is preferred but not required.
• Strong verbal and written communication; multitasking ability.

Responsibilities

• Perform testing of bulk products, finished products, and packaging materials while maintaining GMP compliance.
• Accurately document and enter testing results into SAP.
• Release bulk products in SAP when appropriate and within required timelines.
• Review production documentation to ensure compliance with established requirements.
• Support Quality and Manufacturing initiatives, including product testing for process improvements.
• Follow GMP and safety requirements and maintain SOPs and SDS guidelines.
• Maintain laboratory instruments in good working condition.
• Ensure the laboratory remains clean, organized, and inspection-ready.
• Provide coverage for other laboratory areas, including the Raw Materials Lab, as needed.
