Hubbell Incorporated is seeking a Quality Inspector I to perform basic inspections of materials and products to ensure they meet company standards. This entry-level role supports production by identifying defects, maintaining records, and promoting quality and safety.

Responsibilities include visual inspections, documenting results, tagging materials, and assisting with first-piece checks. The position requires the ability to lift up to 40 lbs, stand for long periods, and work overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Basic math skills used to measure and calculate tolerances.
• Ability to read basic work instructions and drawings.
• Strong attention to detail to identify defects.
• Basic computer skills for record keeping and data entry.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during shifts.
• Ability to lift 35–40 lbs as needed.

Responsabilités

• Perform visual and basic dimensional inspections on incoming and in-process materials.
• Verify product conformance to specifications and work instructions.
• Document inspection results and report discrepancies to leads or supervisors.
• Tag and identify accepted or rejected materials appropriately.
• Assist with first-piece and in-process inspections.
• Maintain accurate records and logs of inspection activities.
• Support product testing as directed.
• Follow all safety and quality procedures.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
• Communicate quality concerns to team members.
• Participate in basic improvement activities.
• Support production teams as needed.
