Hubbell Incorporated is seeking a Quality Inspector I to perform basic inspections and support production through defect identification and recordkeeping. You will verify conformance to specifications, tag materials, and assist with first-piece inspections while upholding safety standards.

The role emphasizes attention to detail, basic math, and the ability to lift up to 40 lbs. Overtime may be required based on production needs.

Qualifications

• Basic math skills (add, subtract, measure).
• Ability to read basic work instructions and drawings.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Must be able to stand and lift up to 40 lbs.
• Basic computer skills preferred.

Responsabilités

• Perform visual and basic dimensional inspections on incoming and in-process materials.
• Verify product conformance to specifications and work instructions.
• Document inspection results and report discrepancies to leads or supervisors.
• Tag and identify accepted or rejected materials appropriately.
• Assist with first-piece and in-process inspections.
• Maintain accurate records and logs of inspection activities.
• Support product testing as directed.
• Follow all safety and quality procedures.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
• Communicate quality concerns to team members.
• Participate in basic improvement activities.
• Support production teams as needed.
• Must be able to work overtime as required.
