The entry-level QA Specialist on 1st shift will perform inspections, document results, and assist with investigations. The role involves collaboration across Quality, Production, Receiving, Engineering, Purchasing, and

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; quality/inspection background preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in inspection.
• Ability to read drawings, specifications, and inspection instructions.
• Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office and Oracle.
• Ability to use rulers, calipers, gauges, barcode readers and similar tools.
• Strong communication, organization and problem solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform incoming inspections on materials, parts, labels, and other products.
• Identify defects, damage, quantity discrepancies, and other quality issues.
• Verify dimensions and specifications using measuring tools and approved documentation.
• Document inspection results, rejected materials, and quality concerns.
• Support investigations, corrective actions, and customer or internal quality requests.
• Work with Quality, Production, Receiving, Engineering, Purchasing, and Customer Service to resolve issues.
