Job summary

Element Solutions is seeking a reliable Junior QA Automation Engineer to support automated tests and ensure quality across applications. You will write and maintain test scripts, run cases, document defects, and collaborate with seniors to improve testing practices.

Under guidance, you will contribute to CI/CD workflows, test across environments, and help expand automation frameworks. A foundational software testing background and a US residency are required for this remote-first role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Associate degree with relevant experience in software testing.
• 0–2 years in software testing, QA, test automation, or app development.
• Foundational knowledge of programming and at least one language (Python/Java/JS/C#).
• Understanding of QA principles, test cases, execution, and regression testing.
• Ability to read, write, and troubleshoot automated test scripts.
• Familiarity with Agile development and SDLC.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; able to document issues clearly.
• Must reside in Continental US and be eligible for security clearance if required.

Responsibilities

• Develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts from requirements and plans.
• Write/modify test code to validate functionality and expected results.
• Create automated tests for new features, fixes, and existing functionality.
• Expand existing test scripts and frameworks under senior guidance.
• Support reusable test components to improve efficiency.
• Execute automated and manual tests; validate app behavior across browsers.
• Assist with CI/CD integration of automated tests.
