Job summary

Android Industries located in Auburn Hills, MI, seeks an Entry-Level Purchasing Project Manager to act as the main contact for purchasing activities within Launch Programs and Engineering Changes. You’ll work closely with Engineering, Launch PMs, and internal teams to coordinate deliverables and align with program timing and budgets.

This role emphasizes strong communication, multitasking under pressure, and contributing to process improvements in purchasing and project tracking.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, or related field.
• 0–2 years of purchasing, supply chain, or project coordination experience.
• Basic understanding of procurement or supply chain processes.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Comfortable working with data and spreadsheets (Excel or similar).
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Travel 5%–10%.

Responsibilities

• Support purchasing activities for Launch Programs and ECs from start to finish.
• Track program milestones and deadlines.
• Assist buyers and managers with quotes, pricing, and delivery schedules.
• Attend Launch Programs and EC meetings and document decisions.
• Communicate with cross-functional teams including Buyers, PMs, Engineering, Operations and Finance.
• Identify risks and help develop solutions.
• Maintain accurate records for Launch Programs and ECs.
• Support process improvements in Purchasing and Project Tracking.
