Corvant is seeking a entry-level Purchasing Agent I in Orlando, FL to support HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical material purchases. The role trains under the Purchasing Manager, processing follow-up orders, and maintaining clean records to keep project work moving.

You will verify details, communicate with field teams, and learn Corvant's procurement systems and supplier network while contributing to timely deliveries and accurate documentation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 0-2 years of purchasing, inventory, logistics, or administrative experience.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy with data entry.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook.
• Ability to manage multiple requests and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Convert approved material requisitions from project managers, foremen, and service technicians into accurate purchase orders in the ERP system.
• Verify part numbers, quantities, pricing, delivery dates, and ship-to locations before releasing orders.
• Place routine orders with established vendors under existing pricing agreements.
• Obtain quotes from approved suppliers for standard materials and supplies when directed.
• Update and research purchase orders as directed.
