Job summary

EBARA is seeking an Entry Level Pump Technician in Sacramento, CA, to perform disassembly and re-assembly of pumps, assist with teardown, and generate failure analysis reports. You will handle equipment maintenance and document observations while ensuring adherence to procedures.

Responsibilities include testing assemblies, performing quality checks, and communicating issues to supervisors. The role requires 0–4 years electro-mechanical experience and a basic understanding of vacuum technology;

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required; associate degree preferred.
  • 0–4 years electro-mechanical and field service experience.
  • Knowledge of vacuum technology principles.

Responsibilities

  • Disassemble and re-assemble pump systems.
  • Receive pumps, generate parts orders, and perform teardown and condition reports.
  • Document observations during disassembly and generate failure analysis reports.
  • Maintain and replace equipment, tools, and supplies used during service of pumps.
  • Check power and hand tools for proper operation.
  • Follow all procedures and instructions during assembly processes.
  • Communicate issues to leads/supervisor in a timely manner.
  • Re-assembly of pumps and testing/ troubleshooting of assemblies and final systems.
