Job summary

Amsted Automotive Group in Saginaw, MI is seeking entry-level assemblers to support daily plant assembly operations. You will visually inspect parts, handle incoming material inspections, load/unload machinery, and move products through the line while coordinating with materials for inventory control.

The role emphasizes teamwork, adherence to quality standards, and thorough daily paperwork. Opportunities include benefits and entry-level training at the Saginaw plant.

Qualifications

• Must be able to drive a fork truck.
• Must be capable of using inspection instruments such as calipers, micrometers, gages, etc.
• Must be able to use scanning equipment and to follow inventory control procedures.
• Ability to work in a team environment is essential to work in this position.

Responsibilities

• Visually inspect production parts.
• Inspect incoming material to ensure quality specifications of outside processing.
• Load/unload parts into/from machinery and pack parts per customer specifications.
• Operate various assembly machinery.
• Move product through the plant and coordinate with materials for inventory control.
• Prepare containers for shipment with labels and weight tickets.
• Maintain quality of all production parts in the line.
• Keep work areas and equipment clean and safe.
• Complete and update all daily paperwork.
