Job summary

Kiewit Technology Group seeks an entry-level Associate Product Owner in Omaha, NE. You will help manage multiple projects, facilitate agile ceremonies, and ensure the team delivers against the product roadmap while maintaining schedules and budgets.

The role emphasizes collaboration across roles, data upkeep on performance metrics, and supporting continuous improvement in a large-scale construction technology environment.

Qualifications

• Experience with various project management methodologies (waterfall, Agile, SCRUM, Kanban, etc.)
• Must be able to communicate well with teams, strong verbal and written skills
• Able to manage software/hardware procurement and project processes
• Understanding software development processes and measurement of metrics (burndown, velocity)
• Familiarity with release planning and complex project coordination

Responsibilities

• Oversee multiple concurrent complex projects
• Drive establishment of team ground rules and cultural norms
• Enable collaboration across all roles and functions
• Ensure the team is fully functional and productive
• Protect the team by removing distractions and impediments
• Review actions, manage scope, and ensure commitments are met on time
• Promote delivery focus, transparency, and cross-team collaboration
• Manage budgets, cost reporting, and remaining work forecast
• Develop and manage detailed project and release plans
• Coordinate with stakeholders for smooth production handoff
• Identify and mitigate risks escalated to management
• Facilitate retrospectives to drive improvements
