Shipbuilders of Wisconsin seeks a Project Manager to support new build and repair/re-fit projects from initiation to completion in Manitowoc, WI. You will coordinate activities with Program Managers, track budgets and schedules, and align production, engineering, supply chain, and operations to project requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Engineering, Business, Operations, or related field preferred.
• Equivalent combinations of education, internships, co-op experience, or early career experience in manufacturing, construction, marine, or other project-based environments will be considered.
• Demonstrated interest in project or program management, production planning, operations, or cross-functional business coordination.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work effectively across engineering, production, purchasing, and other business functions.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate new build and repair/re-fit projects from initiation through completion.
• Help define scope, objectives, schedules, and key deliverables with Program Managers.
• Assist with gathering project requirements and maintaining project records with budget/schedule focus.
• Submit design/engineering/vendor requests and track progress and compliance.
• Maintain project schedules, milestones, and communicate status, risks, and changes.
• Compile reports to improve visibility of labor, materials, and costs vs estimates.
• Support creation and communication of project processes and workflows in line with specs.
• Monitor execution through routine follow-ups and audits to ensure quality and timelines.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and keep work moving forward.
• Participate in process improvement, lessons learned, and project closeout activities.
