Job summary

ARCO Companies in Bellevue, WA is seeking an Entry Level Project Manager in Construction to support managers with estimating, scheduling, and site coordination on ground-up projects. You will coordinate with owners and the design team to develop concepts and assist in proposal meetings to discuss scope and value engineering ideas.

You will help oversee subcontractor buyouts, conduct bi-weekly site meetings, and organize multiple activities to meet our quality and schedule goals while upholding

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related field required.
• 0-3 years project management experience with a general contractor preferred but not required.
• Experience running ground-up projects is highly preferred (warehouse, distribution, manufacturing, cold storage, lab/pharma).
• Proficiency using Word, Excel, Outlook, and Microsoft Project.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for managerial and administrative aspects of a project including estimating, scheduling, quality control, progress reports, progress billing, design review, cost reporting, safety, and proposal preparation.
• Ensure an accurate and complete project estimate.
• Work closely with owners and the design team to develop preliminary concept drawings.
• Participate in the proposal meeting with the owner to review the scope of work and provide value engineering ideas.
• Oversee the buyout process and the selection of subcontractors.
• Conduct bi-weekly job site meetings.
• Make sound decisions under tight deadlines.
• Organize, plan and manage multiple activities to accomplish desired results.

A Day in the Life:

• Responsible for managerial and administrative aspects of a project. Including, estimating, scheduling, quality control, progress reports, progress billing, design review and coordination, cost reporting, safety, and proposal preparation

Necessary Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related field required
• 0-3 years project management experience with a general contractor preferred but not required
• Experience running ground-up projects. Warehouse, distribution, manufacturing, cold storage, and/or lab/pharma facilities highly preferred
• Proficiency using Word, Excel, Outlook, and Microsoft Project
