Job summary

ARCO National Construction Company in Bellevue, WA seeks a motivated Project Manager. You will handle managerial tasks, scheduling, cost reporting, and coordination with owners and design teams to advance concepts and value engineering.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field and 0–3 years of PM experience; experience with ground-up projects and estimation is preferred. Strong MS Office and MS Project skills are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related field is required.
• 0-3 years project management experience with a general contractor preferred.
• Experience running ground-up projects in warehouses, distribution centers, manufacturing, cold storage, or lab/pharma facilities is highly preferred.
• Estimation experience is preferred.
• Proficiency with Word, Excel, Outlook, and Microsoft Project is required.

Responsibilities

• Manage all managerial and administrative aspects of a project, including estimating, scheduling, quality control, progress reports, progress billing, design review and coordination, cost reporting, safety and proposal preparation.
• Coordinate with owners and the design team to develop preliminary concept drawings.
• Lead proposal meetings with the owner to review scope, discuss cost reductions, and provide value engineering ideas.
• Oversee the buyout process and subcontractor selection; conduct bi-weekly job site meetings.
• Make sound decisions under tight deadlines and manage multiple activities to achieve results.
• Act with integrity and align with company values to meet client expectations.

A Day In The Life

• Responsible for managerial and administrative aspects of a project. Including, estimating, scheduling, quality control, progress reports, progress billing, design review and coordination, cost reporting, safety, and proposal preparation
• Ensure an accurate and complete project estimate
• Work closely with owners and the design team to develop preliminary concept drawings
• Participate in the proposal meeting with the owner to review the scope of work, discuss ways to reduce costs, and provide value engineering ideas
• Oversee the buyout process and the selection of subcontractors
• Conduct bi-weekly job site meetings
• Make sound decisions under tight deadlines
• Organize, plan and manage multiple activities to accomplish desired results
• Commit to quality by evaluating project-related processes
• Make necessary changes, use customer input to make improvements, and meet/exceed internal and external client expectations
• Act in a manner of integrity that shows support for the company, its values, and other associates, while maintaining a constant focus on meeting/exceeding customer requirements and expectations

Necessary Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related field required
• 0-3 years project management experience with a general contractor preferred but not required
• Experience running ground-up projects. Warehouse, distribution, manufacturing, cold storage, and/or lab/pharma facilities highly preferred
• Estimation experience preferred
• Proficiency using Word, Excel, Outlook, and Microsoft Project
