Job summary

Tri State Drilling in Plymouth, MN is seeking an entry-level Assistant Project Manager for Civil & Renewable projects. The role covers estimating, planning, and execution from bid through closeout, with focus on budgets, timelines, client relations, and safety compliance.

The position reports to the Senior Project Manager in the Specialty Division and requires strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities. Travel to sites will reach 25–50%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field preferred.
• Experience with project estimation, planning, and execution is desirable.
• Proven ability to manage budgets, schedules, and client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Lead project management phases including planning, budgeting, and execution.
• Monitor budgets, schedules, and submittals.
• Coordinate with field supervision, clients, engineers, vendors, and subcontractors.
• Prepare cost estimates for drilled shaft projects.
• Develop competitive bids and proposals.
• Ensure safety compliance and quality standards on site.
• Travel to project sites as needed up to 25‑50%.
