Job summary

TEKsystems is seeking an entry-level Project Manager support in Bethpage, NY, with 100% on-site work to start. Onboarding will take place in Hauppauge, NY, with a potential for one remote day per week in the future.

You will work closely with experienced Project Managers and Operations leaders, gaining hands-on exposure to planning, coordination, tracking, and completion of major infrastructure projects. This role is designed for career growth into roles like Project Coordinator or Assistant

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred but not required.
• Internship, administrative, customer service, operations, scheduling, logistics, or coordination experience is a plus.
• Basic Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office skills.
• Strong organization and attention to detail.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Interest in building a career in project management or operations.
• Ability to work on-site in Bethpage, NY and complete initial training in Hauppauge, NY.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to break into project management and gain real-world experience supporting major infrastructure projects. You do not need years of project management experience. The team is looking for someone who is organized, dependable, comfortable working with Excel, and eager to learn.

You will work directly alongside experienced Project Managers and Operations leaders, gaining hands‑on exposure to how projects are planned, coordinated, tracked, and completed. This role will help you build the practical experience needed to grow into future positions such as Project Coordinator, Assistant Project Manager, Project Manager, Construction Manager, or Operations Manager.

Pay and Benefits
