Job summary

Walsh Group in Virginia is seeking a Project Engineer to support our Virginia Beach, Chesapeake, and Ashburn projects. You will help plan work, manage document control, coordinate with the project team, and ensure safety and quality on site.

The role offers hands-on experience with procurement, surveying, and project estimating in a growing, family-owned company backed by large-scale resources. Bachelor’s degree preferred and 1+ year of experience required or plus internship/co-op.

• Previous internship, co-op, or employment experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Document control (RFIs, submittals, change orders, claims, etc.)
• Assisting and supporting project team with daily project coordination
• Procurement of construction materials
• Quality Control / Quality Assurance checks
• Coordination of subcontractors
• Survey and project layout
• Weekly pictures for progress reports
• Manage construction equipment
• Safety management
• Project estimating
