Job summary

The Walsh Group, Ltd. is seeking a Project Engineer for our Building division in Charlotte, NC.

In this role you will document control (RFIs, submittals, change orders, claims), support the project team with daily coordination, and help procure construction materials. You will contribute to quality control, coordinate subcontractors, perform survey work and layout, and capture weekly progress photos for reports.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in project engineering or construction.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Internship, co-op, or prior employment in construction is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Document control (RFIs, submittals, change orders, claims, etc.).
• Assisting and supporting project team with daily project coordination.
• Procurement of construction materials.
• Quality Control / Quality Assurance checks.
• Coordination of subcontractors.
• Survey and project layout.
• Weekly pictures for progress reports.
• Manage construction equipment.
• Safety management.
• Project estimating.
