Job summary

The Walsh Group in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Project Engineer for our building division. This role focuses on coordinating daily project activities, coordinating subcontractors, and ensuring quality and safety on site.

Ideal candidates will have at least 1 year of experience and a bachelor’s degree (preferred). Some roles may require relocation; we value problem solvers who plan, execute, and build strong relationships with the team.

• Document control (RFIs, submittals, change orders, claims, etc.).
• Assisting and supporting project team with daily project coordination.
• Procurement of construction materials.
• Quality control / quality assurance checks.
• Coordination of subcontractors.
• Survey and project layout.
• Weekly photos for progress reports.
• Manage construction equipment.
• Safety management.
• Project estimating.
