Job summary

Suffolk Construction in Tampa, FL invites applications for an entry-level Project Engineer in its Career Start program. This two-year rotational program includes three eight-month rotations across Project Management, Estimating and Field Operations, designed to build a foundation in construction leadership.

Ideal candidates hold a bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Liberal Arts, or a related field, with 0–2 years of experience, and strong communication and detail

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Liberal Arts, or related field.
0-2 years of related experience.
Computer literate.
Good communication skills.
Accurate with an attention to detail.

Responsibilities

Assist with Subcontractor pricing and bid documents.
Assist with development and updating of the scope sheet for subcontractor pricing.
Develop Trade Spreadsheet for Subcontractors' bids and assist in pricing.
Assist in development of the detailed estimate.
Participate in Architect/Owner meetings.
Assist with preparation of hard bids and project documentation.
