Job summary

SureFire is seeking a Production Team Member I to support assembly, packaging, labeling, and quality inspections on the manufacturing floor in Reno, NV. This entry-level role emphasizes safety, organization, and meeting daily production targets while contributing to continuous improvement.

You will work closely with teammates and supervisors to ensure products are prepared to company standards and delivered on schedule, with a strong focus on accuracy and reliability in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, and up to one year work experience preferred.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, or overtime as needed.
• Strong commitment to safety and quality standards.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• Familiarity with operating basic production machinery or tools a plus.
• Basic knowledge of quality control principles a plus.
• Certification in workplace safety or related training a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate production machinery and equipment safely and efficiently under supervision.
• Perform assembly, packaging, labeling, and inspection tasks as directed to meet production standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area to comply with safety and quality regulations.
• Monitor product quality and report any defects or irregularities to the team lead or supervisor.
• Assist in inventory management by tracking materials and supplies used during production.
• Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety protocols to ensure a secure working environment.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve daily production targets and support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain good attendance and punctuality.
• Maintain a positive and respectful attitude; cooperate with co-workers, management, internal and external customers, etc.
• Execute daily process improvement using lean manufacturing methodologies.
• Maintain work area by the use of 6S principals
• Work safely at all times and report any unsafe conditions or injuries to your supervisor or manager immediately
• Other duties, as assigned.
