Job summary

Daikin Applied Americas is seeking a Production Planning Scheduler I in Staunton, VA. This in-office role supports production and inventory control, expediting orders, and coordinating with vendors to ensure on-time delivery.

You will assist with forecasts, schedules, and capacity planning in a fast-growing HVAC environment. The position requires an associate or technical degree or equivalent experience, with 0–2 years in related duties.

• Strong organizational and communication skills desired.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative support to production and inventory control functions.
• Review sales orders for accuracy and expedites paperwork related to orders.
• Contact vendors regarding on-time delivery dates and rate changes.
• Maintain files of suppliers, materials, prices, and inventories.
• Prepare purchase orders, analyze quotes, and expedite deliveries.
• Provide data for forecasts and schedules of goods in process and future orders.
• Input schedules, inventory reports, and plant capacity data as requested.
